Our Team

The primary roles of the 423 (Elgin) Squadron & 423 (Speyside) Detached Flight, Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) are:

  • to promote and encourage among young people,

  • a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force,

  • to provide training which will be useful both in the Services and in civil life,

  • to foster the spirit of adventure, and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

At 423 (Elgin) Squadron, our mission is to train young people to be smart, successful and
responsible members of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and the wider community. We are always
thinking of innovative ways to connect with our audience and offer unique experiences for our
young people.
